Squid's Fantasy Ramble March 7th

Change is hard sometimes. Today I am going to help you change your team by clearing out some room for that guy on the waiver that you need. It is one of my biggest problems in fantasy because I can never pull the trigger and drop a guy even though he is obviously struggling. It is so easy to think that as soon as you drop the guy that is when he starts playing better but it is hardly ever the truth. Instead the player just sits on your bench for weeks just taking up priceless bench space. Just do it dammit. Drop the bastard. I'm not saying that I am Jesus but here are the guys that give you "permission to drop".

FLUSH THESE TURDS

Dorell Wright (SG,SF) - Golden State 88% owned

I just hang my head when I think about this guy. I fell victim to this shit show and wasted a pick on him in the draft. Just goes to show that last years breakout year wasn't so much a breakout but a flash in the pan. I just can't believe that 88% of people still own this guy. He's only playing 24 minutes a game and just can't get it going when he does play. Drop him, dump him, flush this turd.

Nene (PF,C) - Denver 94%

Nene Nene Nene. He is just so old. I know he just came back from injury and he may put up a few decent games but you have to start thinking fantasy playoffs this late in the season. If there is anything that I am sure of in this article is that this guy will not contribute anything to your team during the playoffs because he will be on the bench nursing his old balls. Drop him, dump him, flush this turd.

Carlos Boozer (PF,C) - Chicago 95%

I don't know whats wrong with Boozer but I suspect that this condensed season is starting to wear on him. Another injury risk here. Boozer is not putting up terrible numbers but he isn't putting up any good ones either. Boozer does play on Thursday in which we only have two games so keep him around for the week. Drop him, dump him, flush this turd.

Kris Humphries (PF) - New Jersey 87%

Humphries teased us a little this season and put up some good numbers for a few weeks but has fallen off ever since. Don't get me wrong I think he could put up numbers but his situation is terrible. Deron Williams shoots more than Kobe and the points just aren't available to the former Kardashian fucker. If you strictly need a guy for rebounds Hump is your man if not drop him, dump him, flush this turd.

Others: Tony Allen (70%), Caron Butler (81%)

Please remember I'm not saying to just drop these guys for just anyone but if there is someone out there that can improve your team the guys above are flushable in my mind.

SQUIDS FANTASY PROMISE (1-1)

Damn them Mavericks. I really thought that Steve Novak was going to put the Knicks ahead stroking those 3's but Dirk is just to much. Congrats to those that picked up Novak as he put up decent numbers. With today being about turds I only see it fitting that I make a call on the shit show of the night: Hornets (9-29) at Kings (12-26). My gut immediately says roll with the Hornets and my boy Belinelli. Evans hasn't been himself for Sacremento lately but still play him and Isaiah Thomas. Hornets win in Cali and I'm calling for 20 pts by Belinelli.
